According to Intuit, this error can occur when:The MsXML Services .dll file is corrupt, missing, or not registered. MsXML.DLL is a Windows Dynamic Link Library (DLL) file. Web browser programs or extensions need DLL files because they contain program code, data, and resources.If you do not use the latest version of QuickBooks. You can check the latest version and version by pressing F2 to display the Product Information window.First, you must re-register these files when QuickBooks is not running, and then restart QuickBooks to check if the problem has been resolved. If this error persists, you will need to download and reinstall Microsoft Core XML Services.
Solution 1: QuickBooks Desktop must be up to date.
- Update your QuickBooks to the latest version.
- Open QuickBooks again.

Solution 2: Save the MSXML.DII files
- It focuses on the installation of Windows, it is not the commodity to seize.To run a 32-bit computer, follow these steps
- Open the Run window.
- Enter “Regsvr32 MSXML3.dll” in the execution bar.
- Click OK.
- After successfully registering, you may receive a message at the top stating “Succeed”.
- Now restart the QuickBooks.
- If this error still persists, transfer and install Microsoft Core XML Services from any QuickBooks Web site. To run a 64-bit computer, follow the steps below:
- Open the Run window
- Enter cmd.
- Click OK.
- Now open the C drive.
- Enter CD – Windows – syswow64 then click OK.
- Now enter Regsvr32 MSXML3.dll and press the Enter key.
- Then enter Regsvr32 MSXML4.dll and press the Enter key again.
- After saving the files quickly, restart QuickBooks.
- If this resolution does not resolve this error, follow the next resolution.
Solution 3: Uninstall and configure the MSCML.dll files.
- Open the Microsoft Core XML File Transfer page
- Install these files.
- Double-click msxml.msi to open it and follow the instructions that can be displayed on the screen.
- Restart the QuickBooks.
