Chromecast not working on Mac
It’s very easy to set up Chromecast Mac and launch media! Click the distribution icon in the Chrome browser toolbar to activate the distribution extension. The contents of the Chrome browser tab are displayed on your big screen (TV). You can choose to broadcast a specific browser tab or the entire screen.
When you’re showing videos from Google Chrome on your Google Chromecast, you’ll notice that the quality varies widely. Poor quality is usually the result of poor network or broadcast conditions “full tab” and “full screen”. The best way to stream media is to use a direct connection, which happens on sites with Chromecast native support. Sites with native support are, for example, YouTube and Netflix, where the icon appears in the video player on the site and not in the Google Chrome toolbar. In the case of streaming media, your computer only requires Chromecast to stream media content, but does not broadcast all media content to Chromecast. The result is higher quality video than continuous navigation and full screen tabs on your Mac. You can find many Google Chrome extensions that also allow you to navigate to feed sites that do not support natively.
For Apple and Windows computers, try each of the following before moving on to the next one:
- Make sure your computers are running MacOS 10.7 or higher
- Make sure to power the Chromecast device with the power supplied in an open electrical outlet, without using a USB input on your TV or other device.
- Disable Windows Defender.
- Reset Chrome by default to your Mac / Windows browser.
- Reset the Chromecast factory data.
- Restart your router or wi-fi router and / or modem
- Go to chrome: // extensions /
- Noncheck enabled and not throw Google cast extension
- Install Google Cast BETA extension
